Labor Day Hash and Beach Party In Tela!

Run around a tidal basin and through Garifuna villages on May Day, May 1st, in Tela. Meet at the beachfront temporary (one weekend only) home of the Tegucigalpa Hash mismanagement committee for a fun run on the beach and beach party afterwards. This is also your last chance to award down-downs to the outgoing religious co-advisors...

BeerMeister Dave Z is setting up a great hash getaway for April 24-25. A VIP cigar factory tour in Danli followed by a hash in or around Zamarano. Stayed tuned for additional details. Just as soon as I find Dave.

Hash Directions for March 28 El Cuco Hash

To avoid high tide, the hash will begin promptly at 3 PM. To get to the house where we are starting and finishing, ask for directions to the hotel Azul Surf. When you get there it should be on your right side, keep going over a small bridge. The starting/ending point is a house the "al-andaluz," also on your right side. Sorry I can't be more specific--I've never been there either!!!

Next Hash! El Cuco Beach, El Salvador, March 28

A small contingent of devoted hashers tore it up on the streets of Tegucigalpa last weekend. A good time was had by all, especially the Intercon guards who had fun laughing at us as we slowly made our way up one of Teguc's lesser hills.

What could possibly top that? The next Hash! A fun run on the beach in San Salvador followed by a hash beach party!

Great Run Today! Ojojona was beautiful, and thanks to Lucia, I now have a new favorite chorizo place on the road to Choluteca. Nos vemos en el sur!

Our next hash will be a fun run through Teguc. We'll see colonial buildings, churches and Teguc's parks downtown.

Meet at the Plaza St. Martin at 11:00 AM Sunday, March 15. Plaza St. Martin is the small plaza in front of Gino's Italian Restaurant/Habia Una Vez by the Hotel Maya.

The next hash is in Ojojona, Saturday, March 7, at 1:30 PM.
Meeting place: The main Cathedral in the Main Square.

Driving Directions: Take the Anillo, exit on the Choluteca road. Proceed about 33 kilometers, the Ojojona turnoff is marked and on the right. Take that road directly into the middle of town. You may pass through another small town first.

The Hash Blog Doth Arise

And so it came to pass, on day 132 of Co-Religious Advisors Faceplant and Moonshine's tenure, acting with the guidance and wisdom of HashMaster LongTooth, that the RAs sent forth a message to the hash land that all subjects shall be enlightened with knowledge and direction. Let there be a blog, said Faceplant, so that the non-facebooked masses can find their way to our gatherings. And so there was.

And let there be a Facebook page too, he decreed again, with the non-HashVirgin MoonShine's blessing. And so there was that too, for those who wished it. (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=53878971682)

And so it came to pass that the hashers looked upon the pages and found direction. Directions to the hashes. And they were good.
